Go sockless
When wearing your shorts, skip the high length socks, please. You don't want to walk around looking like an old grandfather. Instead, go for the sockless look as shown in the picture. Three summers ago while I was traveling, a couple of gals that I was traveling with told me that the socks should not be worn with shorts. I took them off and wore my Nike Shox Turbo's sockless. It looks better; although, it seams that my feet sweat glands went into overdrive without the socks. My new Nike's smelled badly after about a week!
