Crocs

Why are people still wearing Crocs? Lets forget for one second that they impose serious dangers (i.e., risk of foot getting caught in escalators) and that it is made from junk that is neither plastic nor rubber. Do they not know that they look ridiculous in one? Or are they simply trying to follow their idols (see one of them below) who wear them? They are pair of shoes worn by clowns (literally). Crocs is the perfect example of how the power of marketing can make someone look stupid.
